Hey everyone, I’ve had a handful of reviews published recently so now seems like a good time to share them all at once.
So I Married A Film Critic
This podcast is always a blast. I tend to pick and choose my episodes, but Barry and Julia always find a way to spin gold out of even the worst movies. My editor at The Banner laughed out loud at my first paragraph, too.
The Most Reluctant Convert
I’d heard a lot of good things about this movie before I had the opportunity to see it. If you’re a fan of C.S. Lewis, it’s definitely worth your time.
Ambulance
This movie might give you motion sickness. But I wish I’d seen it in the theater. It’s got style and charisma to spare, and is arguably the best action movie of the summer. Not to brag, but I think it’s one of my best written reviews. So give it a look even if you don’t plan on seeing the movie.
Blood and Thunder: The Life and Art of Robert E. Howard
I’ve already written about this book here, but I was happy for the opportunity to write about it again, some more, for Upstream Reviews. While you’re there, take a look at some of the other reviews and you might find your next great read.
